Women's Health America offers three Restore® Testing options for measuring your hormone levels and rate of bone loss. - If you are interested in hormone therapy or looking for a comprehensive hormone therapy program, the Restore Program determines a baseline hormone measurement and helps assure your hormones are replaced in exactly the amount needed, without overdosing or underdosing.
- If you are using hormone therapy, "What's My Level?" provides free annual testing to monitor results.
- If you are curious about your rate of bone loss, results from our over-the-counter NTx Bone Loss Analysis are sent directly to you. It is up to you to discuss the results with your healthcare provider. Our pharmacists are available to discuss any questions you and your healthcare provider may have.
1. Restore Program The Restore program takes the guesswork out of natural hormone therapy for healthcare providers and their patients. Saliva hormone and NTx bone loss testing is just the first step in this innovative program, which includes customized prescriptions, using the lowest effective dose of natural hormones, and ongoing case management. Restore integrates the very latest in leading laboratory technology and pharmaceutical science with traditional values in healthcare: listening and responding to your individual needs. This program works best for those whose healthcare providers who would like to take advantage of ongoing case management and assistance from our pharmacists and nurses in evaluating and adjusting the plan of care to attain optimal therapeutic outcomes at the lowest effective dose. To enroll in the Restore Program, work with your healthcare provider to complete the patient enrollment form. Tests and prescriptions may be reimbursable under an insurance plan. 2. Restore What's My Level? What's My Level? helps take the guesswork out of natural hormone therapy by providing free annual saliva estrogen, progesterone and testosterone hormone testing and urine NTx rate of bone loss testing for anyone who fills their hormone therapy prescriptions through Madison Pharmacy Associates. Suggestions for treatment adjustments and/or additional hormone therapy are returned to the healthcare provider along with test results. A simple patient enrollment form signed by a healthcare provider is required. 3. Restore BioBalance Personal Assessment Testing Our personal assessment test kits for measuring rate of bone loss can be ordered without a prescription. Each test kit contains everything you need to collect the required urine sample in the privacy of your own home and return it to our lab for analysis. We'll send a report and booklet to help you understand your test results and options.
Personal assessment testing is designed for individuals whose healthcare provider is familiar with interpreting test results, or for those curious about their rate of bone loss who are not necessarily ready to commit to a program of hormone replacement therapy. Hormone level testing (saliva, urine, serum) can be ordered by your healthcare provider by contacting our Restore Program specialists at 800-558-7046, or by downloading and completing the patient enrollment form and submitting it to our Restore Program (Toll-Free Fax: 888.898.7412). Testing is done in the privacy of your own home and the kit ships to our lab, Madison BioDiagnostics, postage-paid. A complete report will be sent to your healthcare provider. Therefore, direct receipt of lab results for NY residents is not possible. NOTE: California State Residents California State health law requires that the testing of any specimen collected or mailed from California be accompanied by a written order from a healthcare professional licensed in California to order laboratory tests. This includes the following disciplines: M.D.; D.C.; LAc; R.D.; D.O.; N.P.; and Pharmacists (R. PH). As of September 2002 (Senate Bill 577), such lab tests may be ordered by complementary/alternative healthcare practitioners ''not providing services that require medical training.''
